a big deal, some layouts and a wicked great giveaway!

Hey! It's Tuesday! You know what that means right? Um, it's Tuesday! Whatevah! Cristina, who is my son Nate's therapist (for Autism), and pretty much the nicest person I know, seriously, gave me this shirt yesterday! I guess she must hear me say it all of the time, LOL! Nothing like a little self confidence, right! I love it!

The other day I got a fabulous "happy box" from Denise! It had tons of beautiful Jenni Bowlin goodies, some Heidi Swapp, lots of lace cardstock, some Teresa Collins stuff. So inspiring! I love getting new goodies. I created these layouts for her:

I love being her personal scrapper and she loves to shop! It's a win/win thing! The problem is the girl sends me too much. Sometimes she sends the same stuff 2 or 3 times because she loves it so much! I told her she I was going to start sharing some of it with my friends who scrap and she was all for it. She loves to read your comments too! So, from now on, when I get a "happy box", one of YOU get a "happy box".

The other day I shared my news with you that I will be designing some stamps to be produced in the near future (thanks to my friend KIM!) Well, Kim sent me some suggestions of some stuff she would love to see on stamps with my handwriting so I want to hear from you too. Leave me a comment and let me know what you would love to see in rubber (keep it clean, LOL!) Do you have a favorite quote or catch phrase or are there sentiments you want?

I will pick a winner at random on Wednesday night (after the Red Sox playoff game of course!) for one lucky duck who will get some fabulous stuff!

Good luck and GO SOX!
love to ya!

Oh my gosh, Lori! I am so laughing about your new tee! That is TOO funny!
Love your pages you made! How cool is that scrapping/shopping dealie you've got going. Definitely a win-win situation! She is way lucky to have you doing her pages.
Can't wait to see some of your new stamp creations. I'm a big card-maker, so I always think of sentiments that can be used as card greetings. Thinking of anything like that?

How exciting to get to design some stamps! I don't have any suggestions for sayings though...I'm not good with that sort of stuff.

I'm also envious of your scrapping/shopping situation. I'd love to be in a situation like that.

You know what I'd like to see you do is a set of sentiment stampst that could be used for a bunch of different things, things that aren't "cutesie" - like a set of congratulations stamps where you mix and match the words. (Congratulations...on your new home, on your special day, on your new job...)

Gosh...can I send you some of my photos? I mean...you're kind of a big deal...ya know. LOL!

LOVE those layouts. The photos in the last one are so awesome! Bright and crisp. Great job!

How exciting that you are going to get to create some stamps. I'm thinkin' it would be fun to do some that had text messaging lingo since that seems to be the hot thing right now. ;)

That is the greatest shirt!!! You need to do a page of yourself wearing it! I love reading your blog, because I can totally hear that Boston accent shining through. All of your layouts are beautiful! I love the 4 years one most. Amazing colors. As for stamps, how about some snarky kinds of sayings like the one on your shirt!

Heheha, love the shirt - i've always loved that saying! Such a cool arrangement you and denise have! Gorgeous LO's you did for her! And how nice of you to spread the wealth :-) Since i'm not a cardmaker, I would just love to see your stamps as an alphabet, so I could use them for titles for layouts - that's definitely what I use stamps for the most... I love my alpha stamps!!

I'm so excited for you and your stamps!! I'm anxious to see everything!

Ok...
1.) you should totally not be scared of the LASIK...I was terrified, but it was not bad at all!
2.) your Tshirt is frickin' hilarious...LOL!!
3.) How fun! Being a personal scrapper for someone...I'm kinda jealous...or maybe my shirt should say..."I'm not a big deal...at ALL!" HA!
4.) I use the words "seriously?" or "really?" entirely too much...a stamp might come in handy with these words..
Sorry for the novel...

Lori, You already know that I've always thought you were quite the big deal! :) And I'm so proud of your stamping designs. I'm gonna have to get inspired to finish a few layouts. How about an anti cancer stamp-- something like "cancer sucks" or Megan's favorite saying "f--- cancer". Yeah, you're right, not a huge market there...

Love ya hon...

My favorite subject are traveling photo's, so I would like quotes in this theme for my scrapbook (to Travel is to Live; Not knowing your destination is half the fun!; etc.)
A friend of mine is waiting for adoption and says she doesn't find a lot for this, so maybe this is also an idea.
Thanks for a chance to win!
Greetings from Belgium, Annelies

lori,
the t-shirt is hilarious!! too funny. i love your layouts and i can't wait to see the rubber stamps that you come up with!! some really cool vintage-y office stuff would be neat: splattered ledger paper, coffee cup stained to do list or while you were out note... anything with a really distresed look to it!! but go ahead...design what you want by all means!
thanks for the great inspiration!
