So excited for...

the holidays!!

Ok, I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet and I already have my blog all tricked out for Christmas! I can't help it. I am so looking forward to the holidays this year. We get to stay right here at home for all of them. My inlaws will be visiting for Christmas and that will be fun.

I just was not into the whole Halloween thing this year. I took all my pumpkin stuff down on November first and asked Kirk to get me down the Christmas decorations. He looked at me like I was mad! I'll take that as a NO. Oh well, maybe this weekend!

This Christmas will be a very simple one as far as gifts go but that is fine. I'm going to start baking and freezing my cookies on Sunday. I'll share my favorite recipes, K?

Well, at least I haven't busted out the Christmas music yet. I'll wait a little bit for that.

I need something to take my mind off of the fact that baseball season is over. I go through major withdrawals after the World Series. I am hoping that Dustin Pedroia gets voted the MVP of the American League. I even altered my "Vote For Pedro" shirt to "Vote For Pedroia"! hee hee.

I've been reading a lot and I finished fifty, yes, fifty very elaborate Christmas cards for Denise. Now I have to make my own!

Hope your week is going well.
Hugs to ya!

Wow!! 50 cards! You rock!! I think that's awesome that you are in the spirit of Christmas. Your blog looks great.

Congrats on opening an Etsy shop. I've been throwin' the idea around as well. I think my mil would snatch everything up just to be kind. LOL~! Then my family would end up getting all the cards back. hee hee.

I say go ahead and play the music (I turned on the TV version of holiday music! last night)!!! and I too am contemplating decorating ... time is NOT on my side these days. I love getting together with you!! Those cards are magnificent!! I love the Etsy shop. I'm secretly coventing the (you know which one!) the green/black box. And cookies ... do you need an excellent taster to confirm that they are edible??? I am available for that and have the wine to share with you!! have a great day dear one.
