World Trade Center Tribute

You cannot go to New York City and miss this tribute. Becky, Kelley and I took the subway down to the financial district on Sunday Morning. We read and looked at pictures and memorabilia for an hour or more then just sat and sobbed. We were all so touched. Such courage and bravery makes me so proud to be an American.

I was looking at this quilt on display there and realized that it was made by my son Joe's 5th grade teacher, Kimberlee Dwyer and her 5th Grade class. Joe had Mrs. Dwyer a few years later. She was a fabulous teacher and I'm proud of her and her students for having this art displayed in the Tribute Museum.

Are you watching the Olympics?

Go Team USA!!

That is amazing about the quilt! I cannot wait to go see that someday with my family. I am so glad you got to do that on such a quick trip. I am sure it is a memory that will stay with you forever, long past the miles of ribbon! I am really enjoying your tidbits and photos everyday from your trip. Beautiful! Love you! Talk to you soon!
